Hot Summers, Wet Winters and Box-Store Kits

Will the color on my Orchards patio fade like the stain I used before?

It holds up better than a stain, because the color is mixed into the overlay instead of sitting on top where feet and weather wear it away. No outdoor color is fade-proof, though, and years of west-facing Orchards sun can soften the tone a little. The sealer on top will dull over a few years of sun, and a fresh coat every three to five years brings the depth back.

Does a coated patio get too hot to stand on in August?

I rolled a patio coating kit on a few years ago and it is flaking. What now?
